Rescue Diver   


PADI Rescue Diver
A demanding, serious but fun, enjoyable and rewarding program.
The PADI Rescue Diver will expand your knowledge and experience beyond purely recreational level. You will learn to look beyond yourself and consider the safety and well-being of other divers. Although this course is serious enough, it is also an enjoyable way to build your confidence.
Rescue Diver training will prepare you to prevent problems and, if necessary, manage dive emergencies.

Entry requirements: 
PADI Advanced Open Water Diver or PADI Junior Advanced Open Water Diver certification. 

(or qualifying certification from another organization).
Minimum age: 15 years old (or 12 years for PADI Junior Rescue Diver). 
Successful completion of any Medic First Aid program within the past 24 months or the PADI EFR.
The course consists of: 5 knowledge development sessions.
Divers must complete all 12 training exercises during a minimum of five open water sessions conducted within the minimum of two days.
Duration:
3-4 days
Note: Junior divers, under the age of 15, must independently complete a written exam (oral exam is not permitted). The only exception is when junior divers have been diagnosed with a learning disability that affects their reading ability.


Emergency First Response   


Emergency First Response - EFR
Emergency First Response gives you the tools you need to perform CPR and First Aid. 
Whether you are a diver or a non-diver, Emergency First Response prepares you to properly handle potentially life-threatening situations.

What do I need to start? 
No dive certification required - No minimum age limit


What will I do?
This comprehensive program is composed of two core modules that can be taught in tandem or as stand-alone courses: 
Emergency First Response
- Primary Care and 
Emergency First Response - Secondary Care. 

Together, these courses proved extensive instruction in CPR and First Aid, as well as providing optional (yet recommended) Automated External Defibrillator (AED) and Emergency Oxygen sections.
