PADI Instructor Development Course (IDC)

The PADI IDC program is your final step in the quest to become a PADI Instructor. The IDC is simply a combination of the AI, the OWSI and the IE.. Normally these courses are taken at the same time, and we call this the IDC.

During the IDC, You'll learn to use and adapt the PADI System of diver education to individual student needs. Comprehensive training, supported by a wide variety of PADI educational materials, earns PADI Instructors respect from both students and peers.

WHY SUNFISH DIVERS?

Sunfish divers ltd established in 1978 is one of the first dive centres in Cyprus. Sunfish divers has been a PADI dive centre since 1992 and it has been teaching dive courses since then. Now as a PADI 5 STAR IDC CENTRE we are more than ready to offer Instructor Development Courses and Instructor Continuous Education Courses.    Let us guide you to success and share with you the experience which we have been building all these years.

Your Course Director and staff will have the time to devote to you. We will teach you at a relaxed pace, making the learning experience stress-free and positive. You'll be a highly motivated, well-trained instructor, and what's more, you'll make lifelong friends while working a job you love.

2. Great Facilities

We will be spending many hours in the classroom, so we tried to make it as more comfortable and convenient as possible with all the teaching materials and educational tools there for you to use during your presentations. We use PADI's newest PowerPoint presentations projected on to TV and projector via our laptop computer. These presentations include live-action video which help to clearly illustrate proper teaching techniques. The Open Water site and swimming pool are only 5 minutes away from the dive centre.

3. Expert Instruction

Our full-time in-house Course Director and Staff Instructors have an excellent working knowledge of all levels of PADI courses, as they are teaching these very courses every day. This gives them valuable insight into the practical everyday situations all PADI professionals face. This experience, along with their language abilities, makes for one of the best instructional teams around. We teach in English, but we have support for  German, French, Russian, Roumanian and Greek.

4. Multilingual I.D.C's

Our experienced Staff Instructors can teach the IDC's in English, German, Danish and Greek language.

Two fully furnished apartments only 5 minute walk from the dive centre.

6. Opportunity to work in Cyprus after your I.E.

We have excellent relationships with most diving centers in Cyprus, and we will do our best to help you find a job if you so desire.
